NOV 16  Axon Medchem launches the new product eCF309. This highly selective mTOR inhibitor was discovered and has been produced for sale by our lab. Due to its high selectivity, this inhibitor has been listed in the Chemical Probes portal

FEB 16 Our bid, supported by collaborators Prof Neil Carragher, Dr Liz Patton, Dr Paul Brennan and Prof Hing Leung, was one of the 9 winners across the UK. EPSRC’s Chief Executive, Professor Philip Nelson, said: “These Healthcare Technologies Challenge Award winners are our future research leaders who will be instrumental in ensuring the UK can meet the 21st century healthcare needs and thrive as a healthy nation.

FEB 16  The Royal Society of Edinburgh announces Asier as the recepient of the RSE/Patrick Neill Medal 2016 for his outstanding research work in biomedical technologies and innovative therapeutics through multi-disciplinary collaboration
